Lake balls

Lake balls: the same ball, a lower price

Lake balls are golf balls recovered from water hazards, professionally cleaned and sorted by quality. So they're simply original branded balls, just hit once and then restored. They play almost like a new ball, but cost a fraction of the price. That makes lake balls perfect for practising, for playing over water, or simply for stocking up on plenty of balls affordably.

Quality grades: from premium to practice

Lake balls are sorted by condition so you pick exactly the quality that suits you:

• Premium (AAAA) – barely distinguishable from new, with no visible signs of use.
• Good quality (AAA) – light cosmetic marks, but fully intact playing characteristics.
• Practice quality – visibly used and the most affordable, ideal for the driving range or playing over water.

Lake balls from all top brands

You'll find lake balls from the best-known ball brands, including the most popular models:

• Titleist – including the sought-after Pro V1 and Pro V1x.
• Callaway – such as the Chrome Soft.
• TaylorMade – including the TP5 and Tour Response.

You'll also find lake balls from Srixon and other brands in the range.

Frequently asked questions about lake balls

Do lake balls play as well as new golf balls?

Premium lake balls play almost like new: the core and coating stay intact after a short period in the water. Lower grades show more cosmetic marks, but those are perfectly fine to play or practise with too. For most golfers the difference from a new ball in play is barely noticeable.

Which lake ball quality should I choose?

If you want a ball that looks like new, choose premium (AAAA). For regular rounds, good quality (AAA) is perfectly fine. If you mainly practise or play over water a lot, the affordable practice balls are the smartest choice.

Why are lake balls cheaper?

Lake balls have been played once, then recovered and refurbished. As they're not new stock, prices are far lower, while you still play original branded balls. That way you get more balls for the same budget.
